Welcome to Cookie Week here in Stephanie’s Kitchen! I have been hard at work in the kitchen all week trying to come up with the BEST cookies for you all! I am a cookie lover at heart. I’ve been making cookies for as long as I can remember. I love to make them and I love to eat them. I thought it would be so much fun to devote an entire week to the cookie! And along with that, I wanted to do a cookbook giveaway to show my appreciation of all who support my blog. I have enjoyed starting this blog and trying to keep up with it for the last 6 months. I have discovered my passion of baking through it all, and I’ve been having so much fun being in the kitchen! I have made so many friends along the way.
So, the first order of business is the giveaway. I have 2 cookbooks, both of which are devoted to the cookie. First, is Martha Stewart’s Cookies Cookbook (one of my all time favorites).

The second one is a darling cookbook called Cookies Galore by Jacqueline Bellefontaine.

Both are great cookie cookbooks with fabulous recipes and ideas! So all you need to do is leave a comment on this post and tell me what your all time favorite cookie is. That’s it! The deadline is Thursday, July 3rd, 2008 at Midnight. I will announce the winners Friday morning. Tell your friends and other foodie friends and I would greatly appreciate it! My all time favorite cookie is the classic Chocolate Chip Cookie. Crispy on the outside and ooey gooey in the center, hot and fresh out of the oven. Total comfort food for me.
Next order of business,
Cookies - Day 1! I am definitely showing you this one first because it is my new favorite. Oh. My. If you like mint and chocolate, you are going to love this one. Total bliss. I found a recipe in Martha Stewart’s Cookie cookbook called
Chocolate Mint Sandwich Cookies. The link is to her website where she has posted the recipe. I decided to change it up a bit and make it my own. I used her basic cookie recipe, but changed the filling and chocolate coating. This cookie is total heaven let me tell you! It has the same components as a chocolate covered mint oreo cookie, but when you make it from scratch, it just taste sooo much better! It really wasn’t all that difficult either. The dough takes no time at all, and after you chill it for an hour, all you have to do is bake, frost and dip. It’s worth any time it does take, I promise! I had a 1 1/2 inch flowered shaped cookie cutter that I used, and it was the perfect size. A two bite cookie is perfect when it is as rich as these are. But trust me when I say that you can’t eat just one! Instead of a chocolate ganache, which I thought might be a bit to rich for my taste, I used a basic mint frosting and coated the tops of the cookies with a mixture of semi sweet and white chocolate. Perfection in a cookie! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
Be sure to check back each day for a new recipe and don’t forget to enter the fabulous giveaway!
Chocolate Mint Sandwich Cookies
cookie dough adapted from
here
For the cookies:
1 cup unsweetened Dutch-process cocoa powder
1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/2 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
Confectioners’ sugar, for work surface
For the mint frosting:
2 cups confectioners’ sugar
2 teaspoons mint extract
5 tablespoons heavy whipping cream (use milk if you prefer)
For the glaze:
4 ounces best-quality semi-sweet chocolate, very finely chopped
2 ounces best-quality white chocolate, very finely chopped
1. In a mixer, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes. Add the egg and mix until well combined. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour and cocoa. Add slowly to the butter mixture just until combined. Divide in half and make a disk. Wrap with plastic wrap and refrigerate about 1 hour.
2. On a work surface covered lightly with confectioners’ sugar, roll out dough to 1/4 inch thickness. Using a 2 inch cookie cutter (I used 1 1/2 inch) cut out dough and place 1/2 inch apart on cookie sheets lined with parchment paper.
3. Bake in a 350 degree oven for about 10-12 minutes. Let cool completely on wire racks.
4. Meanwhile, make the frosting. In a mixer, beat the confectioners’ sugar, extract and cream until light and fluffy. Frost one cookie and place another cookie on top. Repeat with remaining cookies.
5. In the microwave or double broiler, melt the semi-sweet and white chocolate until smooth. Let cool slightly.
6. Dip one side of the cookie sandwich into the melted chocolate and place chocolate side up onto the wire rack. Repeat with remaining cookies. Place in refrigerator until chocolate is set. Enjoy!!

These cookies look delicious! and seem very easy too. I will definitely try them out soon!
As for my favourite cookie… I would have to say Oatmeal chocolate chip because you can eat them any time, as many as you like and never get sick of them! Of course they’re the chewy kind not those awful crispy, break-your-teeth oatmeal cookies.
PS Cool blog!
Stephanie - those cookies are right up my alley! I’ve got the Martha Stewart book, so I will have to give those a try sometime soon.
My favorite cookie is a Martha recipe - it’s almond thumbprint cookies (might be the wrong name). I’m usually a chocoholic, but these cookies are truly addictive and I can’t eat just one or two… I have to put them in the freezer to get them out of my sight!
Yum! cookies are a complete weakness for me. Especially cookie dough. Once I went on a “diet” that said “NOTHING is off limits. Have your favorite foods around and soon they will not be a temptation for you.” So I made 4 batches of cookie dough and put them in the freezer for me to eat freely while I lost the desire for cookie dough. It completely backfired. I ate them ALL! Yeah it took a few days, but my desire for cookie dough only increased. I threw away that diet book.
Those cookies look Heavenly!
I think my favorite cookie lately is the homemade oreo!
So excited about cookie week - i love all your recipes and looking forward to more
Thanks
Oh, this is a hard thing to decide.I would say it’s a toss up between chocolate chip and frosted sugar cookies. I can’t wait to see your other cookie recipes.
Yum those cookies look delicious!! I’d have to say I’m a simple girl and my all time favorite cookie ever are my Grandmothers Tea Sugar Cookies, So yummy!
I hear ya, amyr! I’ve done exactly the same thing. The cookie I most want to “lose my temptation for” is called various things. I was raised calling it the Wacky Cookie. Some call it Unbaked Oatmeal Cookies. It’s the chocolate/peanut butter/oatmeal sugarfest that you cook for just a minute and drop onto waxed paper. Just thinking about it gives me a sugar rush!
My all time favorite cookie is the Brown sugar cookie. It’s a nice, simple, rich tasting cooking.
My favorite cookie of all time…drum roll please…Nestle Tollhouse! Yep, the recipe that comes right on the back of the semi-sweet chips. Although I’ve put my own little twist on the recipe over the years: substitute some (like half) of the butter for shortening, add a spoon full or more of extra flour, use butterscotch, white chocolate and semi-sweet chocolate chips!
You can’t go wrong…
Around holidays, I love Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Pecan cookies, this recipe we used to pass around in college to attract guys. I must say I think it worked because I did make these for my husband.
What a fun givaway Steph, and those cookies look to die for! I would have to say my favorite cookie is the chocolate chip cookie from Paradise Bakery. I wish I could make them that good at my house! Look forward to your cookie week~!
My favorite is the recently discovered oatmeal with chocolate and cinnamon chips cookies! They are amazing.
YUM! My favorite cookie is the sugar cookie at Paradise Bakery. The thought of it makes my mouth water!
I love the recipe for a regular old chocolate chip cookie that is on the back of the vanilla box! So good! But it looks like I’m going to have a new fave! Those cookies you made look so yummy!
My favorite cookie is one my mom makes that I have never had anywhere else. It is called a ranger cookie, and it has chocolate chips, oatmeal, cornflakes, coconut…sounds weird, but when they are warm and gooey…they are the best.
I think my favorite cookie might be gingersnaps. Especially during Christmastime, they are just a necessity for me.
We have the same taste in cookies, I love a nice warm gooey chocolate chip cookie too!
These cookies look pretty yummy too though!
Hello. I am a friend of Chante. It’s early where I live but that pic makes me want cookies for breakfast
Mmm…. my favorite cookie of all time? I’d have to say a warm chewy choc. chip cookie.
My favorite to make is a cake cookie (any kind) cuz they are so easy.

The chocolate mint cookies look AMAZING! Mint is my favorite and I am always looking for a new recipe featuring it.
As for my favorite cookie, it would probably have to be snickerdoodles or white chocolate cranberry oatmeal cookies. I can’t decide, but I’ve never met a cookie I didn’t like =)
Definitely soft sugar cookies with a good frosting. I’m a big fan of Lofthouse but I have a good recipe as well.
Steph, this is wonderful! you are far too generous, my friend!
These cookies look so yummy! I love the icing on top.
My favorite cookies are lemon cookies.
Cory & Katherine, my grandma makes ranger cookies too, they are awesome! But my favorite cookie right now is the Lemonade from the Girl Scouts. My local troup didn’t sell them this year, so some friends from Iowa shipped them to Missouri for me. The best cookies ever!
These look soo yummy! I’ll have to give these a try for sure!
I’d have to say my favorite cookie is a good ol’ soft chocolate chip cookie! Can’t beat them with a cold glass of milk!
Thos look delicious! My favorite cookie is just the simple soft chocolate chip- I love the classics!
I love your blog, and I love cookies. My favorite all-time cookie is chocolate chip, but the one I make the most is a simple cinnamon bar. I especially love the little squares right out of the freezer.
Oh those look so good. My favorite cookie would have to be a soft homemade oatmeal chocolate chip cookie.
Best cookie I ever had…. green tea cookies with almond, in Japan.
one of my favorite cookies, love the mint filling!
Those cookies look so good! I still think a warm chocolate chip cookie would beat it though.
Those books look fun, and would be a perfect way to introduce the art of baking cookies with my daughter.
My favorite cookie is a big, fat soft oatmeal raisin cookie. If I tried these mint cookies, I might change my mind! They look so delicious.
My favourite cookie would be Dorie Greenspan’s Chocolate malted whopper…delish! Yours looks like it could be a close second though.
Wow-these cookies look really great. I have to say that my favorite cookie is the Snickerdoodle. A simple sugar cookie, the addition of a cinnamon and sugar coating really takes it to the next level. I remember that being the first cookie I ever made, somewhere around the age of four, standing on a kitchen chair pushed up to the counter and rolling the dough in the sugar mixture as my grandmother looked on.
First off, I love your blog, but sorry I’m a bit of a “shy commenter”
I’ve used quite a few of your recipes and they are great! These cookies look amazing. Seriously, how can you go wrong with mint and chocolate? Yum! But I would have to say my favorite is a perfect chocolate chip, and I say perfect because I’ve had a few that are not! Haha
Amazing. Everything you make is so perfect. I hope to make that gooey chocolate cake of yours this week. But these cookies, Stephanie, are just amazing. Nicely done.

I absolutely LOVE your site. It’s been wonderful. Not one recipe I have tied have I been disappointed with.
My favorite cookie of all time is the “Blue Ribbon Chocolate Chip Cookie” from Mrs. Fields. I add walnuts and make it with vanilla sugar. It is divine!!
I can’t wait to try the Chocolate covered Mint Cookies. One of my favorite combinations.
Blessings,
Mary
Mint and chocolate? How could you go wrong with that one!? My favorite kind of cookie are these jell-o cookies my grandma made every year for Christmas, in red and gree of course!
I’m so excited for cookie week! And what a great way to start it off!!
I would have to agree with you - if I had to choose one favorite cookie, it would be chocolate chip. You can never go wrong with a good chocolate chip cookie!
My favorite cookies have got to be good old chocolate chip with pecans.
I’ve made the brownie recipe in MS’s cookie book–someone had it on their blog and I couldn’t resist. It is my all time favorite brownie recipe now!
Nice giveaway.
Those look really good and I love chocolate mint.
My favorite cookie is a recipe from my Grandma (who passed many years ago). Our family calls them “Headache Cookies” because my grandma always had some in her freezer and could pull them out and defrost them in a jiffy. My cousin was over and came in and said he had a headache. My grandma got him a cookie and told him to sit down and enjoy it. He ate the cookie and was feeling better and went back outside. Later he came in and wanted to know if there were any more of those “headache cookies”. The name stuck and they are a family tradition. They are a basic pastry dough and you spread with jam (I love raspberry) and shredded apples, cinnamon and sugar and some currants. Roll up, score and bake then cut apart. Kind of like a strudel, but a bit more cookie like due to the dough used.
Lisa
Tough choice on my all time favorite- but I would have to go with the sugar cookies with buttercream frosting. Can’t go wrong.
I just made these cookies but with a chocolate mint filling. Oatmeal raisin all the way. Soft, chewy, and can pass for slightly healthy with the oats and raisins and everything.
beautiful! my favorite cookie (of the moment) are buttermilk cookies with lemon zest…yum. and martha’s cakey chocolate chip cookies. apparently i just like cakey cookies–probably because they bridge the cookie-cake gap.
MMMM, those cookies look amazing. I have to admit it is very difficult to pick a favorite cookie because I love so many, but the best always seem to be the ones my son and I cook together
Wow, nice cookie to start the week off with! Let’s see, I think it would have to be Lexis’s Favorite Chocolate Cookie from the Martha Stewart Cookbook. Yum!
My favorite cookie is chocolate oatmeal — the chocolate puts raisins to shame!
I must admit that chocolate chip cookies with pecans are my favorite cookies! So common but so good!!!! Yum!! I would love to win and make cookies all day!
I will pretty much eat, and pretty much love any cookie that I can get my hands on. I would have to say that my top favorites though are oatmeal chocolate chip and snickerdoodle!!

My favorite cookie is definitely chocolate chip but right next to it is coconut macaroons, dipped in dark chocolate of course. Cook’s Illustrated has my favorite recipe.
I’d have to say my favorite are from a local restaurant where they make a chocolate chocolate chip meringue filled with coconut. Its to die for….
zekks at yahoo dot com
Classic chocolate chip will always be my fave as well…but I do also have a weakness for snicker doodles!
I’ve only started baking about a year ago. Before homemade cookies, I thought chips ahoy were the greatest invention in the world of baked goods… Homemade cookies, wow, what an eye opener. My favorite to make has been the soft chocolate chip cookies. I don’t care what people say, I love my cookies full of chocolate chunks, the more the better…
Snickerdoodles! I could eat them until I get sick. The cinnamon-sugar combination is the best!
It’s hard to pick one, but I’ll guess I’ll go with oatmeal cookies with dried cranberries. With a little orange zest in the batter, they are just amazing!

My very favorite cookie is Cranberry & Hazelnut with milk chocolate from Ben’s Cookies in Salt Lake. I would LOVE to get my hands on that recipe! TO DIE FOR!
Before I discovered those, however, it was a toss-up between Toll House and Oatmeal Raisin (Quaker’s “Vanishing Oatmeal Raisin Cookies” recipe).
Those look great!
My favorites are what my family calls the Christmas cookie sandwich. It’s just 2 butter spritz cookies that are sandwiches together with a chocolate filling. They perfectly compliment each other.
I have the Cookies Galore cookbook and it is fabulous! I love the Valentine’s Day heart cookies that get dipped in chocolate in there. Delicious! I’ve used that recipe for so many other things!
As for my favourite cookie of all time, though I am a diehard chocaholic and cannot resist chocolate chip cookies fresh from the oven, my favourite cookie is my grandmother’s shortbread cookies. They’re little and delicious with a little nuttiness and maple flavour. Mmmmmmmm

These look so good. I must say that I don’t have an all-time favorite cookie. I’m still searching. However, I am a big fan of chewy oatmeal w/walnuts, molasses and vanilla wafers.
I am such a cookie junkie. I have no self control when it comes to cookies. So when I make a batch I have to plan on giving some away or I will literally each them for breakfast lunch and dinner. One of my favorites is a basic cookie dough recipe that you would make for any chocolate chip cookie…But instead of chocolate chips I put white chocolate chips, craisins, and dried blueberries. Called Red, White & Blue Cookies. Yum

Keep baking!
Tracey
Wow, those cookies look so adorable and yummy! I don’t exactly have a favorite cookie, but I really like French macarons with a crispy shell and chewy interior. Are they considered to be cookies?
Thanks for the generous giveaway. I can’t wait to see more cookie recipes from you!
Double chocolate chip…well, as much chocolate dough/chocolate chunks you can cram into one cookie is good for me
But it has to be soft, warm, and gooey for it to be my favorite!
And also preferably with a glass of cold milk
Those cookies look great - but my heart belongs to the coconuty anzac cookie.
My favourite cookie is the classic soft oatmeal and raisin cookie, fresh out of the oven. It makes me hungry just thinking about them!

Those cookies look scrumptious! I hate to sound boring or perhaps even cliche, but theres nothing better than a ccc (chocolate chip cookie for the novices). I have a recipe that makes them perfectly chewy and crispy using ‘Wondra’ flour…you cannot beat them! And a nice Russian (sometimes referred to as Mexican) tea cookie around the holidays with a nice cup of hot tea! Yum city!
Salty oat cookie from Teaism. It’s basically an oatmeal cookie with sea salt sprinkled on top.
Oh your cookies look yummy!!!! My tummy is growling.
My favorite cookie is also chocolate chip, it’s versatile so that you can change it around, and I love baking big, tender, ooey gooey chocolate chip cookies!
Such a hard decision…but I think my favorite cookie is any soft and chewy cookie that has (1)some type of nut (2)some type of chocolate and (3)some type of fruit. Think dark chocolate, pecans and dried cherries!!
How do I pick just one cookie? OK, Got one. How about world peace cookies. That has to be my favorite at the moment!
My favorite is Monster cookies…a little bit of everytihng!
These look delicious!
My favorite cookie is probably a cookie my mother makes called Orange Slice Cookies. They have oatmeal and jelly orange slices in them. So good! But I love all cookies!

Cookies, mmm, you can make so many variations, that is why it is such a great treat! one day if you feel like adding in oatmeal or m-m’s or candy bars, you can, and it almost always imporoves it.
However my all time favorite would have to be Peanut Butter Chocoalte Chip cookies (just like regular CC cookies but with peanut butter).
Now I’m going to have to try these mint ones though, they are making my mouth water
I love chocolate chip cookies, my favorite right now and called Chock Full of Chocolate Chip Cookies by Elinor Linvans. Having also recently been to NYC and tasted the famous ones from Levain Bakery, I love those, too! Your blog is great!

Oh wow, those look delicious! I’ve never made a cookie that gets dipped in chocolate. Oh man, mint and chocolate, yum. As for my favorite cookie…that’s such a terrible thing to ask of me!! How can I choose just one?? Hmm…well, maybe I’d go with a good heath cookie. Or an Anzac (mainly because my Mom makes them). I don’t know! But I do know that this choco-mint cookie has to go on my long list of things-to-make. Oh dear.
wow… these might become my new favorite cookies, but right now my favorite is a classic French macaroon — preferably eaten in France!
Homemade chocolate sandwich cookies with buttercream frosting.
Delicious! My favorite cookies are peanut butter. I found the best recipe for them at allrecipes.com.
These look so good! I love mint and chocolate together.
I would have to say that my all-time favorite is a good old, soft and chewy chocolate chip cookie. I love trying new cookies and I love an enormous variety of different cookies. But when it comes to sheer comfort-food familiarity and deliciousness, for me chocolate chip will trump any cookie out there.
I’d have to say the good old chocolate chip cookie.
Great blog!
Yum!!!
My all time favorite cookie is homemade (super soft) sugar cookies, with cream cheese frosting. LOVE ‘EM!!
These cookies look so dang good! I guess I better buy some stretchy pants and get to it!
My husband loves anything with chocolate and mint, so these will be made next week - without question. My favorite cookie to bake is an oatmeal dark chocolate chip cookie. I came up with them by combining several different cookie recipes. And of course, they are cooked just until soft and chewy - not crunchy at all!
YUMMY!!! I will definitelt try these. My kids love homemade oreos so these should be a great treat!!
I am a cookie freak. I have even tossed out cookies if they didn’t look perfect. My favorite cookie is Ranger Cookies made with coconut, rice krispies, nuts etc
Sugar cookies—but when the girl scouts come around selling… it’s thin mints!
My favorite cookie has to be the candy cane cookies my mom used to make around Christmas. She used peppermint candy in the dough, and divided it in half. Half got red food coloring, which she twisted together with the white into a candy cane shape.
Oooooo… I love Chocolate Macaroons and Soft Lemon Drops! Thanks for your scrumptious ideas!
It looks like you’ll have a lot to choose from but my favorite cookie would have to be the pumpkin spice cookie. It’s beyond simple, just a can of pumpkin and a box of spice cake mix, then top it with some cream cheese frosting! I’ve honestly eaten a whole batch by myself before
I love my mom’s peanut butter cookies. They are the best!
Actually I have two favorites.”7 layer bars”,grahm crumbs w/ sugar & butter, walnuts, chocolate chips, coconut, sweetened condensed milk. You can not beat these for chewy and just yummy. The other is made at ABC in Napa, California. I believe they are called “lemon dreams” or “lemon clouds” OMG! Delicate with a tart icing. They sort of dissolve on tongue like an angel.
Thin mints! From the girl scouts or home made…
I love sugar cookies!
white chocolate macadamia here!
Oh my… I need to stop checking out your blog at 10:00 at night. I am sooo hungry and wanting COOKIES! I have to say my fav. cookie is still your basic choco. chip. yummm…
As boring as this may sound , chocolate chip cookies are my favorite. I guess you just can’t beat the classics. I really want to know what cookie is featured on the cover of the Martha book. It looks delicious!
Your mint sandwich cookies have me drooling over here! Man, choosing my all time favorite cookie is hard! I would have to say chocolate chip because you can vary so many things, different chocolates, add ins, etc. Versatility is key!
My favorite cookie is homemade oreo cookies. They are so soft
That cookie looks so yummy, must make some tonight!
Thanks for having cookie week. I can’t wait to try all these recipes!
I love peanut butter chocolate chip cookies. It’s the best of both worlds in my opinion.
Mmmmmm…cookies! All of your cookies have looked so yummy this week, I can’t wait to try them all.
I love just about all cookies but my all time favorite is a soft chocolate chip cookie made with milk chocolate chips. It’s followed closely by peanut butter cup cookies!
I love a fresh from the oven chocolate chip cookie. I can’t wait to try your cookie of the day recipes.
My favorite cookies are Gingersnaps, but the way my mom made them, replacing the normal dark molasses with pomegranate molasses, adding a little allspice to give them an exotic flavor, and then rolling them in cinnamon and baker’s sugar. I love the spicy and sweet taste all at the same time!
my all time favorite cookie is the nestle toll house cookies with a teaspoon of cinnamon. oh, and i like to use butter flavored crisco instead of butter/margerine. i could eat the whole bowl of batter and all of the ones that i actually cooked!
Wow…so hard to choose. I think my favorite is snickerdoodles…simple, yet yummy! These cookies you posted here are amazing…I’m impressed!
Those look delicious! My favorite cookie is the Gihardelli chocolate chip cookie! It’s much like the one you described…ooey and gooey and buttery on the inside and crispy on the outside!
These cookies look so good! Probably because they remind me of chocolate-covered oreos, which are my favorite cookie.
These will be on my baking to do list. Mint and chocolate, an nearly unbeatable combination (what beats them in my book is peanut butter and chocolate!)
My favorite cookie - is actually from Canada (where I grew up). It is a yummy maple cookie that sandwiches maple cream. Mmmmm, I wish I could buy those here - or at least find a good recipe for them!
My favorite cookie ever is Monster Cookies…oatmeal, peanut butter, M&M’s, coconut…yum yum.
My favorite cookie is my sugar cookie. I’ve always loved sugar cookies and I just recently put together the PERFECT sugar cookie recipe, adding and subtracting things from long adored and used recipes. Mmmm… I love cookies. Love your site too!
I can’t wait to try your cookies…I love baking! Love the cookbooks, too…

Stephanie,
I cannot wait to try the Chocolate mint sandwich cookie… it looks delicious. My favorite cookie is a toss-up between Girl Scout’s Samoas and a good, soft, ooey gooey chocolate chip cookie. Yum!

Well I would have to say my favorite cookie is a carmel cream sandwich that my grandma makes and I have just always loved them. I love making them now with my kids. They are so easy and do not use a lot of ingredients. I love all the cookies you have shown this week. They all look so good.
My favorite cookie is one my mom always makes at Christmas time. She always called them “half moons” but I’ve also seen them called Mexican wedding cookies.
I love, love cookies! You can’t go wrong with chocolate and peanut butter.
Too many to choose from, cookies= weakness. I really enjoy all kinds, but if I had to pick one I’d say oatmeal chocolate chip(or regular choc. chip. I dont think I could ever get sick of them. They are so delish right out of the oven, and when they have cooled, with some ice cream, or with milk. They are the pefect treat to top of a day or to snack on all day. :o)
It is almost impossible to name an all time favorite cookie. I would have to say peanut butter cookies with a Hershey Kiss on the top.
Yum-O! I just happened upon your blog today and I’m already salivating. My FAVORITE cookie is a macaroon dipped in chocolate. And I think Martha’s got the best recipe for that one. Fun contest and GREAT blog.
Wow, great blog, just stumbled upon it now! My favorite cookies are mocha pecan chocolate chunk cookies. Mmm…cookies are so great fresh out of the oven!
Mmmm those look like mint Girl Scout cookies…only better! My favorite cookie is Kitchen Sink Cookies…they are oatmeal chocolate chip cookies to which is added diced apricots, dried cranberries, two or three kinds of chopped nuts, golden raisins…basically everything but the kitchen sink. You can also mix in all kinds of chips…dark and milk chocolate, white chocolate, swirls, peanut butter chips…you get the idea. A lot of filling held together with buttery oatmeal cookie dough.
I recently came across your blog, and I want to thank you for all the yummy recipes! Although we always seem to be on the run and not much time for cooking, you have given me motivation to start cooking more again for my family!
My favorite cookie is a fresh out of the oven chocolate chip cookie! I just love the warm, ooey gooey texture! Thanks for the fun giveaway!
My sister sent me this blog address and I will definitely be back, I love baking and cookies are the best! My favorite cookie is a soft and chewy M&M chocolate chip cookie, I can’t get enough of them.

I modified a recipe for Pumpkin Chocolate Chip cookies to make them healthier, but they still taste great. When my fiance’s two big guy friends came for the weekend, they finished each batch before the next one even came out of the oven–and we were so full, we skipped going out to eat that night! Cookie success!
