So every week I sit down and I plan out my menu for dinners for the next week. For the last 3 years, I’ve had meatloaf on the menu, and for the past 3 years I’ve always skipped it and it was then put on the menu for the next week, and so on. I’m not sure why I’ve had such a hard time making meatloaf. I grew up eating meatloaf. I’ve never met a meatloaf that I didn’t like. But for some reason, I’ve lacked the motivation to actually make it. But this week, I finally gave in and decided to try it out. I added a little bit of this and a little bit of that, hoping that everything would turn out tasty. And I must say, I wish I wouldn’t have waited so long. It was so delicious, so tasty and so perfect. I found some tasty Brocciflower (half cauliflower/half broccoli) which was so delicious as a side and of course mashed potatoes to finish it off. Some tasty down home cookin’ and comfort food to boot. That’s my kind of meal!

Your meatloaf looks sooo yummy Steph. My favorite is a meatloaf sandwich with melted swiss cheese. Great sounding recipe!
I love meatloaf and yours is a great looking one. With the seasonings you’ve used I’m sure it tasted so good!
That’s a beautiful meatloaf. It’s been on my mind lately, too, since it seems like I need some homey food for drop off dinners alot lately. Yours looks great.
I love meatloaf and meatloaf sandwiches! It was one of the non-asian foods my mom cooked when I was growing up.
It only had 3 ingredients: meat, evaporated milk & onion soup mix…ok, 4, if you include the ketchup on top! Not a very gourmet or refined meatloaf, but it was (and still is)awesome.
(btw, I wanted to see your picture, but it’s not showing up for me)
I’ve had a thing against meatloaf too, since my mom used to put RAISINS in hers. But yours looks great! I’ll have to give this non-raisin version a try.
Love mini meatloaves!
This looks like a trustworthy recipe. I will have to try it. Thanks!
I love that you made them into mini-loaves!
I’m sure it’s good, but I’m not sure there’s any way to make meat loaf look pretty.
What a great picture! I love meatloaf. You know there is a wonderful recipe from Sara Moulton (food network) for meatloaf, but what’s even better is this sauce that she puts on the meatloaf before baking. It was so good. Meatloaf sandwiches are so tasty too.
Thanks for your sweet comments my dear–loved it.
I actually love meatloaf, but it is one of the few things my husband doesn’t like. Now I’m craving some!
Yum! I love meatloaf, too.
meatloaf is my favorite!! I have to say the leftovers for meatloaf sandwiches are the absolute best! I love you sissy! I think great minds think alike, because my meatloaf recipe is almost just like this one!! Only without the parm!! I’ll try it this way and see how it turns out!! I love you!!
Your sis,
Jen
BTW…. I am the anonymous blogger, did not know I was hidden sorry!! I am so proud of you sis!!!
