Cookie Madness!!
I’ve been on another cookie spree addiction. It all started with Jenny at Picky Palate’s Oreo Chocolate Chip Cookies. My oh my are these delicious. I kept thinking…why didn’t I ever think of doing that? I don’t know. Than I kept thinking, what other similar things could I throw in an ordinary chocolate chip cookie to make it extraordinary? I couldn’t think of anything. I would walk up and down the isles of the grocery store, but nothing came to mind. Maybe someday it will come to me, although I’m sure someone else will beat me to it. Anyways, these cookies are to die for and you must try them. Click here for the recipe.
I found a great blog called Sunday Baker. Tanya makes my kind of food. I seriously have 6 or 7 recipes bookmarked to try very soon. So anyways, back to the cookies. I have a fetish with cookies. I have tried so many different kinds of chocolate chip cookies, and I have loved most of them. When I saw her recipe for Pudding Cookies, I literally stopped what I was doing to see if I had a box of vanilla pudding mix. I had to try them, and I couldn’t wait another second. 30 minutes later, I had hot cookies out of the oven. They were delicious! You must try them. Click here for the recipe.
So, 2 great cookie recipes from 2 great blogs. And I do have many more recipes from fellow food bloggers to share. I love using your recipes!
And by the way, I love comments people. They make me smile and feel really special and important. When someone actually takes a couple of seconds out of there busy day to write me a note, it just makes me feel so darn happy and bubbly inside. I almost always try to comment back on your blog, (sometimes it doesn’t happen and I apologize. I still love you, but it’s probably just at a moment when my 18 month old is throwing his bowl of milk and cereal onto the clean floor. And I loose track of what I was doing.) Anyways, I have found so many new and awesome blogs this way. Just by someone being so nice and dropping a note. Thanks everyone!

Got something to say?

I love your blog. Sorry I haven’t commented before. I went to school with jenny from pickypalate. Food blogs are so much fun. I have to try those choc chips cookies and the artichoke dip. I love when it’s bubbling, coming out of the oven. And, the caramel chocolate cake has been a huge hit. I have gained 10 lbs since I started making it. Oh well.
I think I might have a cookie fetish as well, lol! Both cookies look great, I remember seeing the oreo ones at Jenny. Well, how could I forget about them? I don’t know the other blog, but I’ll go check it out. Thanks for sharing!
I just started reading Tanya’s blog recently as well, and love it!
Your cookie madness sounds like me lately… I seem to be baking cookies every week for some reason.
Ps… I know what you mean about comments, it’s nice when you get them and I’ve found lots of cool blogs that way, too!
Cookies – now that’s my kind of language!! I love your blog have been following it for a while now but have never commented. Thanks for all the yummy ideas!
These looks amazing – I would have never thought of oreo chip cookies.
You have a great blog here I love all the yummy culinary creations you come up with !!
I too love cookies! I still have Jenny’s cookies bookmarked to try – maybe you could do nutter butters and chocolate chips? Your cookies look great!

I LOVE your blog!! I am one of those that reads every post and never leaves one! Sorry!!! I just discovered your blog a couple weeks ago and added to my google reader. I’ll be posting some more and sharing this cookie’s affair!
By the way, I know exactly how you feel with your 18-months-old! I have a 22 and an 11 months old!
Hi!
Great post!
I found your blog through the comment section of the clumbsy cookie. I too have a cookie/baking fetish. I just started a blog, and am hoping to get some pic’s up of the recipes we like best. Anyway, this is a learning process.
Come check it out if you get a chance!

I love just about any adaptation of a chocolate chip cookie and both pics are making me crave a batch. Looks delectable.
That first pic of the cookies! You are killing me. I have been craving cc cookies for a while now and need to cure that.
Looks fantastic as always Steph!

You take great pictures, Stephanie! Not to mention the recipes both sound incredible. Here’s to inspiration from other blogs!
Omg those pudding cookies are AMAZING! I made them twice in this past week. My sister in law gave me the recipe. By the way, did you follow the recipe to a T? Because I was following some of the reviews people gave this recipe on Allrecipes.com, and added salt. Did you do anything different?
I just wanted to say that your cookies look absolutely perfect. Mines came out a little flat when I added salt. But the first time I tried them, they came out perfect. Although, I must say that there is ALOT of chocolate chips and too much chocolate chips can make them bitter. Thus, I decreased the chocolate chips when I made them the second time.
Thanks for all the great comments friends!
Culinary Couture – Yes, I did add 1 teaspoon of salt. Mine weren’t flat at all. They were perfect. That is the only thing that I added. And I used 2 cups of chocolate chips in my batter, so they weren’t too rich in my opinion, just perfect!
I only added 1/4 teaspoon I think. Did you half the recipe or make the whole batch?
Do you use a scoop to make them all equal in size?
I don’t know how I found you – but I visit now and again. I’m sure it’s because I share your same ‘taste’ in foods.
The cookies are ready for the kids coming home from school.
Have a happy, bubbly day.
I just came across your blog (don’t know how- you know how those things go!) and I love your photos and your food. I can tell we love the same things. I love comments too, so I figure I should actually leave them myself, lol.
Oh, and thanks for making me crave cookies right after working out!
These look so good!
I was at GeorgeTown Cupcake today and thought of you
I love cookies! These look awesome! I enjoy Tanya’s blog too! SO many great ones out there. Your blog is wonderful!!
okay well after that, how could I not leave you a comment! I love your blog and check it all the time girl!
Awe, that’s sweet, your last note gave me a warm fuzzy.
These both look good, your cookies always do! I am so glad I found a use for my box of pudding because since making it home-made I will never buy boxed again and was wondering what to do with my last box! Thanks!
The pizza looks awesome. I recently made a chicken alfredo pizza, but I didn’t use the refrigerated dough, I used a premade (like Boboli) one.
I also just made the cookies with Oreos. I used my own recipe (it’s the much talked about NY Times one). I posted them recently, too. They ARE so good.
I love Tanya, Sunday Baker, too. Your cookies look great. Sorry your house has been in a funk. I’m feeling for ya! Hopefully all will be better soon.
I just bought all of the stuff for the pudding cookies as well!
Making them 2nite!!
