I thought I was so creative. The only one in my unique thoughts and ideas. I’ve been let down. There are so many more creative people in the blog-o-sphere. I thought of these sweet treats all on my own, but I always like to google my recipes before I post just to make sure I don’t have anything too similar out there before I let it loose. But as I looked I saw several different recipes out there for Triple Layered Rice Krispies. But that is okay, because this my own personal take on them, and there is nothing out there exactly like mine. But the question is, can you handle the sweetness? I know I can. And I will. Bottom layer – Peanut Butter Rice Krispies. Second layer – Milk chocolate Rice Krispies. Top layer – the all too yummy original Rice Krispies. I made these in a 9 inch baking pan so I had smaller layers so you could actually take a whole bite and not brake your jaw. These are so delicious. Give them a try, if you think you handle them!!! Just don’t tell your dentist. I may get a lot of hate mail.

I’ve never seen these before, but I’d eat one or three of them!!
I love this idea – and I have never thought to make them so I definitely think your idea is unique. They look delicious and anything rice krispie treat related has to be yummy.
OK, those look and sound AMAZING! We would love them at our house!
I think I can handle it! The best of 3 worlds in one! Brilliant and d-lish!
I can handle it!
And I love it. These would NOT last long in my house.
I think you should own them proud, I’ve never seen them and they look perfect!
OMG..you and my NON cooker husband must think alike..he wanted me to make a layered Krispy treat the other night..but I was out of fluff! These look yummy and SUPER sweet…may I please have them all???!!!!
I love the layered idea! Great job!
Wow! What a great idea. You are so right about them being the best of all worlds!!! My daughter is home from school drooling over my shoulder as I type! lol, I’m not certain if I should or shouldn’t make them.
I’m pretty sure I can handle them dear! Don’t worry I won’t tell my dentist, lol! It’s funny how people have the same ideas, isn’t it?
My mom always used to tell me there was nothing new under the sun and I’m finding that to be more and more true the more I search the ‘net.
I’ve made something almost exactly like this before but yours look way better than mine did.
I think, even if you don’t think your idea is unique, you should always share it – after all odds are someone seeing it here is probably missing it elsewhere. Besides, I think it challenges us to think outside the box. I could definitely join you in the sweetness – although you might have to make two pans because I don’t think I would want to share!
Well, you’re the first to introduce tri-layered rice krispy treats to *me*, so you invented them as far as I’m concerned! What a wonderful improvement on a familiar favorite.
Stephanie, these look sooo good and loving the different flavors, great idea!
wow, that looks great
and i hadn’t thought of it, so you’re up there in my book!
My kids would love these! Hubby too! Definitely the best of both worlds.
I know my oldest would adore these! I don’t know if I could eat more than a couple of bites, but he’d finish it for me in a heartbeat!
I’VE never seen them before either, what a great idea! How funny that you google recipes, I never would have thought of that! I know sometimes people come to the same conclusions as far as food and recipes, but that doesn’t mean you’re any less creative, you still DID think it up on your own. Who cares if some other people did too, it must just mean it is a really great idea. And it happens to me too.
mmmm these look wonderful! the kellogg’s website has tons of variations on rice krispies – if they take submissions, you should submit this b/c it’s a fabulous idea!
What a fun take on a tasty snack. Very cute idea. I would love to feature your recipe on our Demy, the first and only digital recipe reader. Please email sophiekiblogger@gmail.com if you’re interested
. Thanks!
I just made these and they are fantastic. It is a great twist to an old classic!
