Bundt cakes are my favorite and this one sounds fantastic! Hope the next two weeks fly by for you! I know how miserable it is to be 8 1/2 months pregnant in hot weather.

Looking forward to the announcement of your new little bundle!

  2. Hélène says:

I’ve never seen a cake with 7up, that’s interesting. Good luck with the end of the pregnancy.

Awww, we miss you, too!! Hope all is well with you. Can’t wait for your little one to make an appearance soon! In the mean time, this cake looks great. You’d never know it had some “cheating” going on :) Yum!

The only cheatin’ I’ll do is the bakin’ kind! You know I’ve made Bakerella’s sprite cake and it was wonderful so I bet this is just as good! Your photo is lovely!

    Happy holiday weekend!

I’ve never heard of a cake with 7-up, just the usual coke so this would be a great one to try. Best wishes to you and the baby on the way. Take care.

ooo- this looks good. I think I’ll make it tonight. I’m also into easy recipes like this. I to have a baby due in the next couple weeks. Thanks for sharing this recipe!

  14. Traci says:

This sounded delicious and easy (my two requirements) and so my 3 year old and I made it yesterday. It was so yummy, and I found that I liked it better cold than warm–the lemon flavor really comes out when it cools all the way to room temperature!

  15. Jennifer says:

7-up?! Wow what a great idea!! Looks so yummy!

  16. Carole says:

I know this was originally posted a while ago but I just made this cake this weekend and it was great! I didn’t have a lemon cake mix so I just used a yellow cake mix and it came out great!!

  17. Susan says:

This cake looks delicious! I just got a homemade cake pedestal from one of my good friends
( http://www.zaisy.etsy.com ) anyway, this would look gorgeous and would be the perfect thing to break it in! Thank you so much for sharing your delicious recipes. I’ve tried a couple off of your blog here and have really enjoyed!
