Have you tried using part wheat flour and part white flour? If it's just a little bit your family shouldn't notice and you can slowly increase the amount of wheat flour. I've been doing this with breads, pizza crust, etc.

Thanks for your nice comment Stephanie! This Giada recipe looks great! I have used a couple of her recipes before and loved them! I especially love her recipe for Italian Chicken in Lettuce Cups...you should definitely try it out if you haven't!
